Change for Change – Change for Change – The proceeds from June 2026’s Change for Change Ministry will support the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH). Since 1990, MCCH has provided solutions to help end homelessness in Montgomery County. Be sure to join us for Father’s Day worship to hear the story of one of MCCH’s clients, “Larry.” A heartfelt thank you, Trinity! Through May’s Change for Change collection, we raised $100 to support ministry efforts—every coin truly counts! For more information, contact Diane Vellandurai (240-449-5132).
Ladies Night Out – Next month’s Ladies Night Out is a Summer Cookout & Game Night! Join us for an evening of great food, games, laughter, and fellowship on Tuesday, July 21, at 6:00 PM. Please RSVP to Jan Branscome (301-509-1220) or Megan Rush (240-498-6945) for the address and additional details.
Towel Donations Needed – We are currently in urgent need of towel donations to support a local dog rescue effort. If you have old towels you no longer use—bath towels, beach towels, or even worn or mismatched ones—they can still make a big difference! Towels do not need to be new. Clean, gently used towels of any kind are welcome and will help keep rescued dogs clean and comfortable. If you would like to donate or have questions, please contact Janice Tweedy. Thank you for helping us care for animals in need!
Summer music – As the choir enters its most-deserved summer break, we are looking for people who are interested in presenting their gift of music during the offertory. This can be a solo, duet, or small group of singing, instrumental, or a combination. This is open to all age groups and abilities! Bible Study – Book of Acts – Join us for our weekly Bible study as we journey through the Book of Acts, led by Pastor Elvyn. Two identical sessions are offered each Thursday in the Parlor: a 12:00 PM (Noon) session and a 6:30 PM evening session. All are welcome!

It’s Gardening Time! – Come dig in with the Garden Ministry as we plant, mulch, and grow together! Join us Wednesdays (6:30–7:30 PM) or Saturdays (10 AM–12 PM)—or stop by whenever you can lend a hand. This season’s garden will include peas, beans, beets, spinach, tomatoes, and Swiss chard—and we’d love your help bringing it to life! We’re also in need of mulch donations for our flower beds. Neurodiversity Support Group Meeting every third Thursday 7pm: Being neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or “neurotypical” person. Examples of neurodivergence include autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and Tourette’s syndrome. Those who are neurodivergent – or even just suspect they might be! – are invited to a monthly support group. Here, we’ll share our delights, our frustrations and enjoy an environment created specifically for us. July Ministry Series: Easing the Stress of Ministry – Serving Christ is a joy, but it can also be demanding. In this four-part series, we’ll discover how Jesus equips us to serve with faithfulness, wisdom, and peace. Through His teachings in Matthew’s Gospel, we’ll learn to release unnecessary burdens and embrace a healthier, more fruitful approach to ministry.
July 5 — Easing the Stress of Ministry Part 1 (Matthew 11:16–19, 25–30) – Jesus invites the weary to find rest in Him. This message explores how laying down unnecessary burdens and taking on Christ’s yoke brings renewed strength and joy for ministry.
July 12 — Easing the Stress of Ministry Part 2 (Matthew 13:1–9, 18–23) – The Parable of the Sower reminds us that faithful ministry begins with receptive hearts. Together, we’ll consider how cultivating good spiritual soil enables God’s Word to take root and bear lasting fruit.
July 19 — Easing the Stress of Ministry Part 3 (Matthew 13:24–30, 36–43) – Life and ministry often include challenges beyond our control. Jesus teaches us to remain faithful, trusting God to bring justice and fulfillment in His perfect timing.July 26 — Easing the Stress of Ministry Part 4 (Matthew 13:31–33, 44–52) – God’s kingdom often grows in quiet, surprising ways. This concluding message encourages us to value what God is doing—even when progress seems small—and to joyfully invest in what has eternal worth.

Youth Ministry: We’re excited to share that Trinity is working to reactivate our Youth Ministry for students in grades 6–12. This is your chance to connect, grow, and have fun together as part of our church family. If you’re interested (or know someone who should be), reach out to Lisa Kurtz (301 674 1229). We can’t wait to see what God has in store!
Children’s Ministry: As always all children are invited to join our Godly Play Coordinator for an age-appropriate exposition during Service. After our Children’s Moment during the Service, our little ones may opt to rejoin their adults in the Service or go back to the education wing for some Godly Play. Remember to check them in at the front desk upon arrival to church.
Trinity Nursery: The Trinity Nursery is open and ready for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old. Remember to check your child in at the front desk before bringing them to the nursery. The nursery is located in the education wing; first classroom on the left.
