Service—Our youth serve the community through service projects, acolyting (10+) volunteering at the fair, and helping with just about everything that goes on around here. Plans are underway for mission trip “Camp HOPE” in the Summer 2017 in Frostburg, MD.
Confirmation—The Methodist church baptizes infants, and sees Confirmation is an important process for youth to take the baptismal vows for themselves. Confirmation is a year-long program of faith formation, retreats, field trips and fun, led by Rev. Bonnie and adult leaders. It is open to anyone 6th grade and above, and the class is usually 6th, 7th, &8th graders. This is offered every other year. The next class will begin in the Fall of 2018.
Camp Manidokan The youth have a great time at Camp Manidokan each year, making new friends, renewing old friendships, zip lining, swimming, singing, and strengthening their faith. Manidokan comprises more than 300 acres bordered by the Potomac River and C&O Canal, 20 miles west of Frederick, Md.
