Trinity Kid’s Week

Trinity Kids, you are invited to join together with our kids at Trinity for Kid’s Week. This week is design just for you and kids just like you. Each day there will be a story, coloring pages, an activity, music, and even a challenge for you to do at home. This is a way for you to learn and have fun, just like we do when we are together at church.

Trinity adults, we want for you to participate, too. Each day there will be a prayer prompt for you to focus on. The prompts focus on children both in our community and around the world.

Parents, you are invited to register your child for this so we know how to prepare their activity bag. The bag will include everything they need to participate in Kid’s Week. You can either pick it up at church on August 2nd or 9th from 3-4pm or you can have it delivered/mailed to you. Please let us know by August 5th if you need it mailed so there is enough time to get it to you.

You can also find a digital copy of the activities here: Trinity Kid’s Week Digital Version if you would like to print them out and do it at home without getting the activity pack.

Please feel free to reach out to for any questions!

A little more about the Kid’s Week Activities

Children will be invited to engage in 2 Psalms and 3 lessons from Jesus throughout this week. These lessons are simple reminders about what it is like to live the Joyful Way of Christ in our everyday life. Trinity kids are invited to participate with their families and practice remembering these lessons together.

Day 1: Psalm for remember how God’s words are meant to help us.

Day 2: Jesus reminds us to welcome others because when we do, we also welcome Jesus.

Day 3: Jesus reminds us that we have a chance to share something with others every day.

Day 4: Jesus reminds us that we have two important jobs: telling the good news and helping others have healing.

Day 5: Psalm to remember how important it is being in conversation with God.

Each day there will be a special story and song that goes along with the lesson for the day. You can find those on our Trinity United Methodist Church – Germantown, MD Youtube Channel the week of Kid’s Week. You can also check back here to find the links for each day.

Please join us for a Zoom Call on Friday night at 5pm for a Celebration. We will sing all the songs from the week and children can show some of the things they’ve made!
